A busy time at home has prevented me from processing and posting the latest images etc...

(Now I am retired I seem to have less time)!

Over the Easter `weekend` we visited our good friend Carrie in Nefyn, North Wales. As always we were made very welcome and were able to make good use of our local guide and expert!

The snow had been somewhat patchy in North Wales but we had little difficulty finding some. Our first trip was to the Padarn Country Park. The surrounding mountains were covered in snow and great views were possible from the shores of the lake - there is an easy walk around the lake from the car park...

The view from the old hospital.

The Padarn Railway uses locomotives saved from the quarry behind.
The sight of Goosanders eating BREAD at the lake-side was not expected!
