A Week in Norfolk.
6th October onwards.

The school half-term was spent on the Norfolk coast between Titchwell and Cley covering the usual sites.
Titchwell yielded many chances for bird photography and Wells once again provided many close-up views of Brent Geese, Curlew and Gulls as well as Starlings. In future it may be better to locate at Wells so as to make full use of low tides etc rather than Holkam (very close to Titchwell).

It was a shame we didn`t manage to visit the seals at Blakeney this year.

Many of the better photo`s can be viewed on my flickr feed.

I suppose the `best` shot though will be this - of a juvenile Marsh Harrier at Cley...

Marsh Harrier at Cley.

Curlew at Wells.

Brent Goose at Wells Harbour.

Brent at Titchwell beach through ATX.

GBBGull at Wells with a starfish - which it had to abandon.

Brent Geese over Cley/Blakeney.

Brent Geese over Cley/Blakeney.
The Marsh Harrier again at Cley - it appears to have made passes in front of the hide each day.
