Algarve.

13th March 2014.
Tired of winter rain etc a spur-of-the-moment decision to book a week in the Algarve proved inspired.
The golden sands and impressive cliffs provided a much-needed change for the camera and the bird-watching was very promising; so much co that we shall return in April next year armed with new walks books and bird-watching guides provided by the excellent local tourist advice organisation.

There is an ALGARVE set on my Flickrfeed. Here are a couple of images from that -

The Algarve is clearly a place worth re-visiting!
The west coast is one of the largest limestone pavements anywhere with unique flora.
