A rewarding couple of weeks at Upton Warren.

During the last couple of weeks further experimentation has produced some more rewarding images with the digiscoping setup.

The snipe have proven less than cooperative but the feeders have provided several species and the curlew have shown well also.

male reed bunting 425 (47)

curlew 425 (25)

shoveller 426 (36)

The highlight was the appearance of the OTTER not once but twice; thanks to Vernon for giving the `heads up` as he recognized the significance of the birds` behavior prior to the showing. The otter was too far away to produce a good shot but the view was still memorable.
The reserve continues to offer something of interest each visit and there is always the promise of something rare or simply exciting....
